Benefit Dinner, Auction, and Fun Run

A student in our class would like to pass on the following information:

There will be a benefit dinner, auction, and 5k family fun run for Andy Layne and his family to help them in his fight against cancer.

The dinner will be tonight, Friday, May 13 at the Tremonton Senior Center, 510 W. 1000 N. The cost is by donation, and there will be a silent auction for handcrafted items, signed sports memorabilia from USU, BYU, and Philadelphia Eagles, and one of the game balls used to score in the Oct. 1, 2010 game signed by Coach Gary Anderson.

Tomorrow there will be a fun run with registration from 7:00 - 8:00 A.M. at the American West Heritage Center, 4025 S. Highway 89/91, Wellsville. The 5K Family Fun Run begins at 8:15. Registration will be $20 for an individual (with a T-shirt and reminder band) or $50 for a family. The family registration will include 2 T-shirts and up to 6 reminder bands. Children 8 and under may run for free. (The flier does say that day of registration does not guarantee a shirt or reminder band.) The silent auction will also continue on Saturday.

If you have questions please call Andy Barnes at 435-512-0648. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun and a great way to help someone in need. Thanks!
